What Covid safety precautions are being taken?

Your safety is our number one priority at High-End Picnics NY. To ensure a safe picnic, our staff will disinfect all hard surfaces, set up freshly washed pillows/fabrics, and wear gloves and masks at all times.

Can I bring my own food and drinks? 

 

Of course you can! We also offer food deliveries and charcuterie boards.

Do you provide alcohol? 

 

We do not provide alcohol. Please keep in mind that alcohol is prohibited at most public parks and beaches in New York. Drink at your own discretion, there is no liability to High-End Picnics NY.

What is your cancellation/ reschedule policy?

 

If you need to cancel, we’re sorry to hear that! Please give us at least a week's notice. Cancellation without a 1 week notice results in the loss of your date reservation deposit. If you plan to re-schedule, please let us know 48 hours ahead of time. If you cancel less than 12 hours before your booking, you will be charged in full. If you are a no-show, you will be charged in full, no exceptions.

 

 

How is payment made?


Your booking will be scheduled with a 20% down payment on our website. Your remaining balance is to be made 48 hours before your booking. This can be made through Zelle or Credit Card (Tax and CC fee will be added).

What if it rains?

 

We will contact you at least 24 hours in advance if the forecast doesn't look favorable for your picnic. At this time we will make plans for relocation or rescheduling. You can choose whether to have an indoor picnic at a new location or re-schedule for a different date. Picnics can not be canceled or refunded due to unpredicted weather, only re-scheduled or relocated.

When should I book a picnic? 

 

The earlier the better! We ask that you schedule your picnic at least a week ahead of time. This way we can best accommodate you. We will try our best to accommodate last-minute picnic plans.

How will I find the picnic set up?

​

You will receive a text with a "Pinned Location" of your luxury picnic 30-minutes before your scheduled time.

What if I’m running late?

 

If you happen to be fashionably late, we get it! Unfortunately, lateness results in the loss of precious picnic time. For example, if your 2-hour picnic starts at 2 pm and you arrive at 2:30 pm, it will still end at the scheduled time of 4 pm (30 minutes were lost due to tardiness).

What if I want to leave early?

 

If you would like to leave early, please give us at least a 30-minute notice with a text or call. You are responsible for all items until a staff member is there to claim them.

What areas do you service? 

 

We regularly service areas in New York such as Long Island, Queens, Brooklyn, and NYC. If you would like a picnic outside of these areas, please contact us privately on our “Special Inquiries” page and we will try our best to accommodate you. You can choose from our various recommended locations or request your own chosen location (home, park not listed, etc).
